In order to better promote your art online, we all need to be proactive in announcing to the world where we are and what we are showing and selling~ The aim is cross promotions that will bring people to the sites where we all are selling as well as advertising our art in free blog forums, lenses, social sites and POD Sites [Print on Demand Sites] There are also Auctions that can help that are Free to list in and you only have to pay a small fee IF your art sells~ so its no risk. Check back as I add new Directory Resources here.

Although this all may seem a bit complicated right now, once you get started in listing into the categories appropriate for your artworks, the sooner buyers will discover you. Site traffic is increasing and we are getting noticed more in search engines and art buyers will be coming here to check us out!
We now have many of the same features that are on the Paid Fee Sites, along with Promotional Tools that even the Paid Sites dont have~! It is my goal this coming year to grow this site and make it known to the Art World as a viable resource for Art~ We all have to do our parts and display, edit, title and price our works and promote them with the resources available here.
Set up a Twitter, Squiddoo, Facebook, MySpace and some blogs~ Get into a routine with each artwork you have and soon you will find listing them to be simpler and more rewarding as you art begins to sell~ :) Ave

New Categories are being added as the need arises. I am providing these categories as I have been looking over some of the paid sites and see they have such categories.
Unlike the paid sites, however, I am incorporating easy to use methods of promotion and advertising, so it is up to each member to join in the catergories and directories, so as I promote and advertise this site, viewers will be able to easily access your work, by name and or topic and have a way to contact you here or at your other sites.
Unlike the paid sites, this is OPEN and free so it is unique in that I have nothing to gain or lose by promoting sales on other sites, as I am working to promote and sell my own work but providing a mapwork for all artists to be able to do the same, for our mutual success. :) Ave

Hi Jacquei~

What I would suggest, if you want to sell through my Printing Services, you could post on your picture edit that "AHI Site Prices Apply" ~ or name your own prices.
Make a Paypal Button & paste it on your MyPage so people could pay you directly.

Once they pay you, you then order your prints here in Printing Services & email me a high resolution jpeg file pic along with the customer's name and shipping address, so I can fill the order for you.

You just pay my wholesale prices listed + shipping.

So if the customer for example wants an ACEO- they have to pay you $8 +shipping charges. Then you order your picture wholesale printed by me for $2.15+shipping .

That covers both our costs and you would net a profit of $5.85 for the aceo print.

Thanks Ave, how about if I sell them as prints with and without mats about the same size as the Essex Cottage I bought from you....can you print that size at all please? or if I sell a set of greetings cards ..how about Vista? Sorry for questions but this is my first venture in selling...........thanks for your help...............hugs............jacquei

Yes, Jacquei, I can print any size you want.Also for Greeting Cards I recommend using Vista's xl postcards, setting the image up on 1/2 and buying their smaller envelopes. All you have to do is fold them. Whenever I buy smaller postcards from them, they offer small envelopes, so I buy those envelopes at discount and save them for the larger xl postcards that I fold as cards. Its much more economical that way because if you order them as cards and they fold them, they charge alot more~ On smaller orders for specific cards, I print my own and can do the same for you if you want, but with Vista if you buy 50 xl cards when they have their frequent 'free' deals- I only have to pay S& H & envelopes along with their set up fees.

Hi Ave, So if I sell my work as prints and greeting cards and you print them for me, how do I set out an entry in ....say seascapes in the groups............So lets take for example one of San Julian Bay............if you can tell me the end price for average print size, also greeting card, including your costs and postage to me and the suggested markup............then I will show my postage costs as extra.
Then I will add the paypal button on my site directing them to it by link.......Is that how I should do it?

Hi Jacquei~ I have to go offline now but will be back later and can show you how more detailed if needed, but placing a paypal button on your page and or site is the way to go.
Then its just a matter of hyperlinking everything together..
Under the Paypal tab is a Buy-It-Now tab.That has all the prices I charge retail customers.Then under the printing tab is the members printing prices. I have some shipping listed but will have to research and make a list to cover for domestic and international shipping, which would make it easier to put together pricing for your customers.For now if you familiarize yourself with both lists you can do the math to see how much you would make on a sale as compared to Redbubble or the others, you should make more money this way. Hi Ave, thanks for the info, I am now sorting through my seascapes to see which ones may sell and then deciding in which size and medium to sell them. Then perhaps you could help with paypal button please.
