I also added chat that now shows up on the bottom of the page and when you click on the icons you can instant message any members on site~! I need to test that with someone too to see how it works exactly but then shoppers could contact each of us direct about our art :)Ave

Now water mixable oils is a new one to me! Never heard of it~ I use acrylics and those craft acrylics & house paints~!lol.. Then I use a spray gloss enamel to seal them over [ which I found I should have taken photos before putting the gloss on as they glared and I had to redigitally paint every one over to be able to print~]
I got a tip on uploading~ If you first rename your picture file in your computer, put your name a space and then the title and use caps where needed.Then whenever you load them to any other site, the title will be there immediately & you dont have as much editing to do~ Also you can pick traits that are the same in all paintings- like "Painted with water mixable oils" and if there are some the same size, you can cut and paste those parts of the descriptions from one to the next. TAG with "your name", in parenthesis as that will eventually make it into the search engines & more people will find your art~! :) Ave
LOL... I haven't added any yet, descriptions that is.... I just found this site and am in the process of setting up... I will try and set all info up ASAP.... sorry that all of this hasn't been done as of yet... but thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to comment... Hi Fran~ On this page {MyPage} there should be a +AddPhoto but a quicklink is in ArtManager tab above~ that starts the process~ everything on this site is 'manual' but I tried to create some features like on ArtWanted etc with Categories and Artists names ~ Once you load some pics, it automakes page for your art that shows on your {MyPage] Then I copy the page URL with your name and make a hyperlink and then I post it alphabetically under "Artists" tab so people can search the site by artist name~ It also puts you in the general photo pool so You can make 'albums' also . Then I can make an link to create a portfolio/Album page for that and your album will show in the "ArtShow" gallery ~
Complicated but gets easier in time. Then I can make slideshows to show on front page & in ads for your art when I do off site promotions I feature different artists to help get you known online more. You also can then use the online Directory to join in ads and directories for other sites you belong to & I will make the hyperlinks to those sites for your promotion and easy access for viewers to see your work~! :) Ave

Glad you joined us~ If you put your name & URLs in the Directories with their names [ i.e. zazzle, facebook,fineartamerica] I can add you to those directories which are good tools for cross promotions and for viewers seeking art on those sites to see who from here is selling there and thus drive traffic to your other sites.. Also in categories you can post you art under subjects.
Load some pics & I will be able to hyperlink your photo page to the Artists tab Directory~ Feel free to post ads in any Directories you have site memberships to~ as well as the Classifieds section too~!
